Restoring ceremony to our communities is one way to develop a closer relationship to earth, spirit, and our fellow human beings.  Using the seven principles of ceremony from her book The Power of Ceremony: Restoring the Sacred in Our Selves, Our Families, Our Communities, Linda helps participants build personal or family ceremonies based on their own spiritual orientation  Listening, Intention, Preparation, Structure, Symbols, Prayer, and the Unexpected are all considered in this interactive workshop.

Facilitator:  Linda Neale has spent most of her life learning about and participating in ceremonies.  Her teachers include her husband Rod McAfee; Lakota elders Helmina Makes Him First, Buck Ghosthorse, and Godfrey Chipps; Navajo elder Lillian Mitchell; and creation spirituality founder Matthew Fox.  She was a school psychologist and licensed family therapist for three decades. She is an author, ceremony facilitator, dream guide, and a member of the International Association for the Study of Dreams.
