Usually done as a day long workshop, but can be condensed. The Focus of this workshop is on what it is like to be a non-Native person participating in Native American ceremonies, and how these teachings can be used and integrated into the "great work" in a way that is respectful and meaningful. This includes distinguishing between the "red road" and the "Natural Way", what are the racial and societal issues of participating in ceremonies that are not from one's particular culture, and why non-native people are drawn to the indigenous traditions. The workshop can include storytelling, songs, drumming, and ceremony, as well as excerpts from audio tapes by various elders. Cost: varies.
